Have a low chassis 1200GS and trying to find something to keep the crap off.
Mudslinger and huggers all seem to say no good for low suspension model. Any one tried one or offer an alternative.
Thanks

I have a mudsling on mine and it has not touched any thing yet:D

Thats the low model btw...on the subject of the low bike do you know
what has been done to lower the bike, is it suspenders or frame?
Cheers. Lyn.

Hi Ted,
I have a home made "mudflap" on mine, made from the front mudguard of an old motocrosser (copied off "Bullwinkle")
The old mudguard was cut in half, then bolted through the toolbox base and held at the side with a cable tie to the frame rails. It just touches the plastic shock guard, but as it's all attached to the frame of the bike, it doesn't move, the swingarm passes it no problem. By far the most effective method I've tried of keeping water and sh*te off the back of my legs.
If you want to have a look, pm me, I can't make the Windmill this month.
