Low mudguard into STD forks

Does anyone happen to know if the KTM 690 Adv front fender will fit into the standard forks on an XChal? I know the BMW forks are slightly wider than the KTM ones but it's only 20 mm so should be mainuplated to go in. I've ordered the Rally Raid bracket but the mistake I made was ordering the 990 Adv fender...

Long story short I can't send the fender back I ordered as it had to come from Austria (fender anyone?) and I don't want to spalsh out the £180 for the 690 before I know it'll fit.

Different in the 990 is twin disc and 690 single. It's OK tho now we've come up with a solution

But the low fender used is the same fender for the 990 and the 690 irrespective of how many discs they have.

690 fender is different. Front bolt holes are closer together and there are only 3 mounting holes per side as opposed to 4 on the 990 fender. 690 fender is also "rounder" than 990 at the front.
