Hi Dicky - silly question time - is your seat 'lower' than the lowest setting on the standard seat as fitted as standard on the R1200GS? The reason I ask is that I was going to buy a 'low' sargant seat to help get my short arse nearer the ground and thought a 'lower' seat would help. Hope this makes sense .. thanks again .. Bob

yes its the bmw low one ,it is as new, my inside leg is 30" and iam fine with the adventure whitch is about 20 mm taller than the 12 gs .hope this helps cheers dicky 01947 896202 home after 5.30
