I've ordered a low seat for my 2017 gsa from BMW thinking it would match the rear , this wasn't the case my bike is white and has the grey centre panel on the seat with black sides the new low seat in mainly black with small grey bits on the side.
Has anyone else had this with a lowered seat ?

Yeah, I have. Didn't like the mismatch and wasn't willing to buy both seats so kept the regular seat on the low setting and relied on my weight to sink the cushion a bit. I looked at the seat when my bike was 1-2 weeks old and now it's fine but I do weigh a lot.

me to but I've gone with it for the mo

This might be stating the obvious so sorry if it is but the pillion seat has a low and a high setting so try to minimise the gap between seats by putting the pillion on low. Looks a bit better.

? How do you lower the pillion seat

When you attach the pillion seat you can can have the seat more forward or rearward, not higher or lower IIRC.

Where the front pin locates on the pillion seat you can choose to go forward or backwards.

Rear is higher, front is lower.
