Low seat width

I personally found the Sargent too wide and the edge dug into my leg even when seated.

I would say the Kahedo/Touratech is the most narrow. I found the Low Kahedo comfortable and good for lead/floor reach a but it made the handlebars feel much too high so I went for the standard Kahedo (GS height).

You could also get an OEM GS seat recovered by a bike seat specialist.

Hi there... I have the OEM "lower" seat which is pretty narrow, not me most comfy of them all probably but I got used to it after a few hours of riding. I can take the measurements for you if you're interested.

Cheers
Rami

Rami that would be great, im only interested in the width of the plastic subframe, say in the middle and maybe 3 inches forward and back of the middle thanks.

I'm thinking I suffer from the same problem, although I find the Sargent very comfy it splays my legs and makes them even shorter than they are lol.

My brother has the GSA height Touratech seat. It really is all day comfortable but just a bit too high for me so I've stayed with the Standard GS height. On long runs with minimal town riding, I set on high. 90% of the time it's set on low.

Large bikes would be so much better with retracts. We could than have the seat any height we like and no worries about reaching the floor.

Sorry for the "suspense", mate. Got busy around doing house work and wasn't around the computer after work...

Here are some pics which hopefully you'll find useful to get an idea:

Hopefully it will give you an idea of the measurements, and let me know if you need anything else!

Cheers,
Rami

You are a star Rami thanks. Ive just measured my Sargent seat and its 11 1/2 ins across at the narrow point, bloody hell thats more than two ins wider no wonder my wee legs can hardly touch the ground.

Yup, that'll make a big difference alright!

I'll recommend that you ring a few dealers to see if they have the seat in stock to give it a real life test before you purchase it. Sometimes the measurements don't tell the whole story either...

Cheers!

Sad thing is the Sargent is comfy compared to the Kahedo, thats why I changed in the first place. Maybe if I can compare the two side by side on the bike I will know better. Anyone in my neck of the woods got a low TT Kahedo I can borrow for 5 mins ?
