after the swiss tour i found any great distances/curves etc i keep squashing my balls( going to be direct here)

bbbvito mentioned i have a low seat fitted and that might be the problem - i have no idea what type of seat is fitted as the bike is 2nd hand.

SO..... anyone care to measure a standard seat for me????

whats the height of the seat pad lowest point to the floor??

i also have the front on high and the rear on low but it still forces me forward.

thanks in advance..

rob

OK having the height adjustment means you don't have the low seat as the low seat is not adjustable.

Putting front on high and rear on low will push the front edge upwards into your crotch so you might want to try setting both front and rear to same setting (either both hi or both low)

this will put slightly more presure on your arms under breaking - which is the usual reason for setting front edge higher than back edge.

BTW isn't there a factory high seat - that I assume still has adjusters

Doesn't the manual say the adjustment bars need to be the same front/rear ..:augie

ah ok ta for the low seat info. i have played around with the adjustment but TBH it doesnt do too much to solve the problem....

i may have to look at an adventure seat which doesnt have such an upturn where it meets the tank.

mmmmmmm thats even more confusing as my seat doesnt look similar to either of the 2 seats - it has the scoop at the front similar to the low seat but it doesnt have the large dip.

maybe its a european model thing and 3 seat options were produced or the previous owner has had the seat reworked.... ill see if i can borrow a normal looking seat and try that.

There are not too many part numbers for seats so you probably have one that has had the foam privately re-profiled
