Low to Hi Mudguard

Mulling over to change my low mudguard GSPD to a High mudguard. I know the pros and cons..anyone got a hi mudguard to sell? I can get a Goodridge brake hose off Ebay.

Yup, saw that but I want an OE plastic one not the repro fibreglass version. Appreciated for the link though

£70 ish new but you wont get the rare bolt on end piece or the ally reinforcing strip.

I can get a Goodridge brake hose off Ebay.

You don't need to change the brake hose... There should be a bracket under the low mudguard that bolts to the rear lug on the fork.
The steel pipe looks better than the long wafty hose going to the caliper... impo.

Thanks Redboots...just mulling it all over, hopefully soemone may have converted in the other direction etc and may have mudguard but good point on the brakehose.

I used an Acerbis Baja when I did mine. The Acerbis Nost is the same I believe.

If yer go faster than 90 the front end weaves with the high one if that helps you

Also the low one on mine and a mate who has done loads and loads off trailing has never clogged up with clggy earth also ITHY

Over 100 and you take your life in your hands

Apart from the looks the low mudguards better all round.

Over 70 mph and I get a nose bleed..then again, I'd jump on my Yamaha Thunderace if I wanted to get up to 160 mph

Good advice all round, appreciated. Maybe use the money on some panniers ( I have the frames )

Got one on mine at the minute to try and sort the high speed wobbles out. It's no different to the standard BMW one that has the ally bracing strip hidden underneath.
