I have just bought some lower foot pegs and have adjusted the gear lever fine.
But there seems to be no way to lower the brake lever, only adjust the free-play. I have resorted to putting plastic pipe over the brake stop.

Does anyone have a better way, so it is easy to adjust?

If its an 08 on bike you can't adjust pedal height. I had the opposite problem in that the pedal was too low for me making the rear brake next to useless. Fitting a s/hand Wunderlich extender has helped for me but not sure how to solve your problem. I did look into fitting an earlier adjustable lever but I think the frame and/or brake light switch is mounting is different. Bastards!

A better way, yes, the rest is up to you! :nenau

A bracket could be made to raise the gubbins behind the factory protection plate, which in turn will drop the brake arm.

You would need to drill 2 holes at the same pitch as the existing holes in the original plate and then a further 2 holes alongside, elongated, but higher up the plate. The elongation will give you adjustment until it suits your needs.

By installing this new mounting plate and raising the actuator you will be rotating the brake arm pivot point clockwise, thereby lowering the brake arm foot pad.
In the pic below the original screws are located in position '1' with the two new holes at position '2'.

Cut a V in the arm. Bend and weld it up...

Sorry. I'm on the phone.

That was the first thought I had before getting all unnecessary :D but I didn't think the OP would like that idea. Dunno why, I don't even the bloke, he may even think that's the bees knees solution! :thumb2

Sorry. I'm drinking a cup of tea with a cat on my lap.

It's what I'd do. But I look for the cheapest solution... :D
