Ok, some will know I've been having issues with my sargent seat. Turns out it's not the seat, it's me
Anyway, I had a revelation earlier. I think my bars are too high. My 1150R had slightly lower bars, meaning my weight was distributed mainly to the seat, but some was taken by my wrists. This was perfect.
The GS is more "sit up and beg" style, meaning all my weight's on the seat.
I know all about bar risers, but is there a way to lower my bars a bit?
I'm not sure how much lower, I'll have a proper look tomorrow. I'm thinking I can try loosening the clamps and try turning the bars a bit, therefore making them lower? I assume it's ok to do this? Obviously I might need to adjust the levers and switches, but is there anything else I should worry about?
Unless there's an easier solution of course.
Cheers, Jonny
