Lower shocker mount

Re the rear shocker and its lower mount (The shouldered 10mm threaded "stud")

Does anyone know if it simply screws out, or is there a nut on the back of it (hidden in the rear drive) ?

Furthermore, as the BM dealers are shut at the mo, does anyone know if its available as a spare ??

There's nothing holding it on. Its just very tight, There's probably thread lock on there too. I had to take bevel box off and put the mount in a vice to get it out.

Heat is needed to melt/soften the thread lock..... lots of it and be careful not to shear the stud head as they cost about £40.00.

it should just screw out. i had mine replaced after i bent it....

as above it just screws out. I removed one from a set of casings after boiling it in a pan of water for 5 mins I didnt want to stink the kitchen out and the stove was the only heat source I had available
