Got this airhead here, and Mark has fitted lowered footpegs, but the standard springs are not suitable. If I fit them as best i can, they prevent the footpeg from folding right up against the frame.
Any ideas on what spring fits? Bit vague I know but one must try.....:D

When I fitted lower pegs I just recycled the springs from the bend your knee in half pegs. I'm fairly sure the high pegs are generic to the 1100 and 1150 so springs from them should be good.

Having a look here: http://www.motorworks.co.uk/bmw/products/product.php?f=b&bke=bmw&q=42020&x=23&y=11 the oil heads are the same and page 2 here

http://www.motorworks.co.uk/bmw/pro..._30&shnew=New&model=R45/50/60/65/75/80/90/100 (2 valve)&shnewcode=15&part=Frames and fittings (inc crashbars)&sub_part=Footrests&modelcode=20&partcode=MA&source_code=BA_15_20_MA_30&header_text=&header_text_image=0&spPage=2 has the same part number

Or a those the problem ones?

I'll look at cutting the stock spring before moving on......:thumb2

Not that hard to make springs like that,if you have the right tools and materials. Need to be carefull to make sure the rod doesn't spring back at you and thwack you on the knuckles though :tears
