Hi if you have the adventure R, I have the adventure dakar. I would do a straight swap with you

Seat hight 905, 880mm
Ground clearance 301, 261mm
susp travel 245, 210mm

You could always fit an Adventure R saddle on it?

I hav standard 950 and want go up

If tou offroad best keep taller

If road use lower an stiffer will give better road handling into bends

Its my sons bike and he asked me to ask you.
His bike is not an R - so im told
Anyone done the change? And how was it.
Also point you to his saddle thats up for sale. Its as good as new.

Would be interested to know the same. My G/F has got a 990 SMT which needs lowering and we've heard different stories about whether it affects to handling or not. I guess it's the same question as Jaca2865 is asking.

Anyone done this and can comment?
