I have a 3 year old factory low GS1250 Ralley
And have a friend selling a near new std GS1250 Ralley.

Anyone know if you can switch the suspension or lower a std GS ?

Difference between a std GS & factory low

SUspension units , side & centre stand

Denzo can lower the existing suspension, no need to buy replacements.

As above, Denzo lowered mine by 30mm by fitting shorter stiffer springs, side stand didn’t need modification but centre stand might.

I`ve heard nothing but great reports about Denzo :beerjug: I lowered mine by around 20mm and found that a shorter side stand would be a little better as the bike does sit up more on the side stand. Does anyone know where I may get a shorter side stand?

BMW do a different sidestand for the factory lowered models Mark - one of those would be a direct replacement at a guess (although I believe the aftermarket feet don't fit them)

Thank you for your kind reply - I do think I even have a part number!

My 2013 GS is factory lowered ,with the sidestand shorter and the foot being larger than standard suspension . Some aftermarket suppliers do make sidestand foot enlargers for factory low sidestands . Motorworks in Yorkshire supplied me with the correct Touratech one . Hope this helps .
