Loved the bike, one thing puts me off is the high stance. Don’t want to mess up the seat. It’s spot on and comfortable.
After some research found this spacer which lowers the bike by 30mm. Spot on for me and enough to put one foot down. However there is not much scope to lower the front from the clamps, unless changing the inner springs. Is that even possible? The bike tested was not enduro and I was wearing the Daytona M Star boots. Weird thing is I have the taller 840 mm seat on the RS and I don’t have a problem.

Why can’t you drop the forks abit ? They raise them on the enduro
Surely dropping the forks through the fork braces would mean the forks coming out of the bottom of the fork braces. Raising the forks through the fork braces will lower the front end.

Perhaps fitting a 19 inch front wheel can help getting the bike lower, but make sure to adjust the geometry and stance of the motorcycle accordingly.

Looks like Touratech is on the ball.

I weigh about 13 stone, so call that about 95kg fully kitted up.
I have the spring Preload set to almost min at the front and at min on the rear.
Compression and rebound at only 2 both ends.
In other words, the bike is set pretty firm as standard, using bmw s settings it was too stiff for UK roads.
Softer springs should not harm the bike and give you a bit more sag to get your feet down

Dealer tried that, I was like a ballerina. Just one foot down I was almost off the bike. To top it I was wearing the M Star boots which has a 2” inner lift. 🙄 25mm lower would manage just about to put one foot down which would suffice.
Anyway there is a solution and it’s quite well priced.

I meant softer springs, not just releasing the Preload on the existing. But if you can get shorter then it's issue resolved 👍
