Has any got experience with the LS2 FF325 modular helmet??

Thinking of getting one for the wife, she want's a modular but nearly fell out of her shoes when she seen the price of Schuberth and Shoei.

I was on the LS2 stand at the NEC and had a good long chat with rep and a good pock around the helmets, they seem have come on leaps and bounds since I first seen the brand.

The FF325 does slightly better then the C3 Pro on the Sharp website (don't shoot the messenger)

Anybody using one??

I have ls2 flip front helmet. Nothing wrong with it. They always seem to be discounted somewhere. JJH

I had an interesting chat with the guy on the SHARP stand about the reasons why Arai dismiss the SHARP test as "inadequate".

The reason for buying a more expensive helmet is that, by and large, they are more comfortable, better ventilated, more suited to spectacle wearers, better sealed against rain, have Pinlocks as standard etc, etc - and there is all lot of "personal preference" concerning these aspects. They do not necessarily fare better in the impact tests.

I did buy a Nitro FV341 flip-front (in order for this Luddite to try a "21st century" BT intercom to compare with my Autocom) and it was not only cheap but also badly made.

LS2 are according to a couple of sources going to be making the new BMW System 7 helmet, why not just wait and pay the extra £400 for the one with the BMW badge on it

Buy the LS2. Stick some BM badges on it. Tell the wife it's a System 7! :D

Or just take her to the shop and let her try some on and decide for herself?

Let her decide herself!!! What sort of blackmagicvoodooskulldugery is that?

Fine looking lid but the (low) price is making me think twice.

Does very well in all the online reviews.

Hi Keith. I used one for a while, still have it. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. If they doubled the price they'd probably sell more!
Reason I don't use it anymore is I found that it was slightly tight across my forehead.
I now use a Nolan convertible helmet in the warmer weather because I like an open face at times and it has the deepest and widest visor for good viability. I recently I picked up a BMW system 5 helmet for the winter months. It's the most comfortable of all.
If the bride is going to do lots of miles with you, I would go for the best. It'll stopping that terrible whining noise you'll get otherwise.
If it's just now and again, the LS2 will be fine. It has to meet the minimum standard anyway.
Mine has no interest in the bike now and I would find the responsibility of a passenger on today's roads a bit of a worry. Don't even have the rear seat on now.

Howya John, yeah I think I'll get her one to take us up to the summer, she won't be out with me much during the bad weather. She has a fantastic Dainese that has had very little use but it's around 10 years old!! Neotec or C3 Pro is what we had decided on but she's buying it and up until now she hasn't convinced herself to part with €500 - €700!! I brought her to France on the bike with me this year and she loved it (I don't know whether to be happy or sad about that)

We must meet up for a coffee some time.......maybe half way.

My little un Sophie has an LS2 helmet, looks really well made and plush and is nice and light (a bonus at her age). If I hadn't got an AGV already for use on the trumpet I'd probably buy an LS2 as it feels a nicer lid than the K5 AGV.
