Hi Lads,
Anyone own a LS2 helmet. Thinking of buying one as I like the style or a Roof flip up.
Full face are not my thing but something like a flip style might be acceptable. Have looked at the Simpson but want something where the front goes all way to the back.
Not really interested in other makes

Cheers Doc

Morning

I've had 2

Firstly I had the Valiant model....It was OK but the XL too large so went with an L as It would bed in so to speak. It did, but only after a while and only with the bar flipped up. With the bar down it pressured my temple area. After a couple of hours it was too much.
I tried smoothing out the inner lining (plastic / polystyrene whatever) made it a bit better

Went for a Shark flip after that

December 2023 I tried on one of the LS2 Advant X FF901 models
Whole new plush lining
Lining is easy to remove, for washing, cardo fitting etc
The XL was perfect, so bought one
Quality is better than the Shark in my opinion. Feels more solid and put together
It is all day comfy, no pains, no aches
Came with a pinlock, blow up donut, spare dark visor, bag, rucksack
5 Year warranty when registered

Was £237 from Motocentral

So I would say, try one, Arai, Shoei, I am a size large but an XL in this Ls2

Cheers bit cheaper at Motocentral.

I ve got an Advant X carbon, and it has been excellent over the past year. As above, normally size L, but needed XL with the LS2. The flip over chin bar is great and the internals have enough space for comms kit, with comfy lining.
Very pleased with mine.

I looked at them yesterday in A&D, the Advant X flip back thingy. XL was a bit tight and XXL too floppy. For reference, I currently wear a Shoei Neotec and Neotec 2 in XL. The original Neotec needs to be replaced, the 2 is still fine but I like to have a spare.

Demon Tweeks stock the Shark Oxo and Scorpion Exo Tech Evo so might pop in there when I go to collect the V85 this afternoon.

I'll have a look Saturday at sportsbike shop.
The Advent gets a good review. It's either that or I'll not bother.

I have a LS2 Advant X FF901 sized 3XL brand new (in box, in helmet back, in LS2 backpack) unused if you are looking for one. I bought it for my birthday and the Mrs promptly pops a new Schuberth C5 she bought for my birthday down on the table in digust.

The LS2 is a brilliant lid and the flip "up and over" design is great.
