Luggage Mounts

I fancy some ally luggage for my 650 , but want to know if the mounting set up for luggage is the same as the 800?

BMW offer Vario panniers for both, but only alloys for the 800
Some aftermarket offer 650/800 and others 800 only

Any one know for certain if the mounting points are the same on both bikes (common sence says they should be )

Same for screens .... Why dont they offer the 800 touring screen for the 650 ?

To my knowledge both bikes use the same chassis and iirc when I bought my 800 I was told that the vario fixings/rails set up was identical to the 650.

The 600 and 800 are using the same mounts.

It would probably be better if you decide on which kind of luggage you're interested in before choosing the rack.
