Could someone please let me have a link to the adapters to let me fit my old vario luggage panniers to the new bike? I saw a post about them but can’t now find it.

Also, what are the options for the top box? I’m tempted to fit my Givi metal one, is there an adaptor plate available yet for it?

For the Givi adapter it depends on which carrier you have

Hi All Taken delivery of R1300 GS Triple Black. Had to source engine bats from SW Motec and a few other bits and bobs BUT currently there seems no option for a top-box adapter plate to allow me to fit the Givi box I have used on my 3 previous GS. I have the 2x BMW side panniers so the options...

Saw motech adventure rack can fit a givi mono key with a universal fitting kit. I have mine on the 13gs.
Also there is a kit and plate from givi ( I think) that fits.
A search on here will give you the numbers for the givi kit.
It can be done.

The old panniers needed adapters they are made by a company called Variupter. They were on eBay at one time, try a search on eBay for Variupter.
