When we've been away before with all the camping gear etc it can get a bit overloaded.

I've been concerned about the stability of the load. I don't carry alot of weight back there - it all comes to about 10Kg, but the tiny rack doesn't leave alot of option for keeping it all stable.

So I did some research and came across Best Rest in the US and thought I'd give the Model T a go.

It was very fiddly to fit, as I needed to get the nuts in to small space under the fixing kit beneath the original rack. Used an adjustable spanner in the end to hold the nut captive so I could get the thread attached.

It certainly increases the support for the load, but does take it further past the back wheel. It'll take some road testing to see the effect of this on the handling.
