Lumpy RT quick shift

I put mine in for a service when I picked it up the programming for the quick shift had disappeared, advice was to reprogram by plugging it in or 10 seconds in each gear up the box 10 seconds each gear down the box, using the clutch to change.

I tried the latter it worked a treat for me and its nice a smooth

I wish I could re-program my GS's quick-shifter. Despite being looked at by a dealer which improved it, compared to the one on my K1300s and S1000rr it's a real disappointment and I rarely use it.

Out on the bike today, no quick shift on the up, I am assuming the 10 seconds in each gear is done on the centre stand ? was this advice from BMW
Will try tomorrow and post results

Dealer didn't mention anything like that to me after first service on Thursday.

It has to go back as its a real pain to find neutral...

Tried 10 seconds gear change up and down didn't work so plan B
