UK Outlook for Sunday 18 Nov 2007 to Tuesday 27 Nov 2007:
Rather cold to start the period, with an area of rain likely to push southeastwards across the UK, perhaps heavy at times in the south and east. Conditions are then likely to become drier for a time early next week in the northwest but further rain is possible in the south and east, where temperatures will remain generally below normal with a strong, chilly northeast wind. All parts becoming drier with lighter winds for a couple of days, but with a risk of overnight and morning frost and fog. Increasing northwesterlies towards the end of next week will bring further periods of rain or showers, wintry over northern hills. Temperatures will fall again to below normal. Towards the end of the forecast period, winds will ease and become more westerly.

Like I care, off on holiday on Tuesday, mid eighties in Houston :bounce1

Sorry I'm not gonna make this one.....one of my good friends from my schooldays is coming home this weekend to say goodbye to everyone (we also served in the RAF together), before he gets posted to Afghanistan next week :(....wouldn't want to miss the chance to give him a hug and tell him that we are looking forward to seeing him home as soon as possible.....:(.....we're intending a massive p**s up in Dalkeith on Saturday night with the obligatory auctioning off, of all of his possessions just in case (black humour I know), watch the news, if you hear of rioting chances are......:green gri :augie

have fun everyone hope the weather is kind......:thumb....will defo make the next ride if it's organised......:D

Hope his injuries are healing too. He shouted "House!" and was trampled over by 2 x Big Issue sellers, 14 x Romanians and a 7 x Bulgarian gypos.

Biker Down

Folks.

In the spat between Ronno and Davidmot, Gerry Watts said he would be attending this meet.

Unfortunately this aint now the case.

Yesterday Gerry collected a second steed for his garage (R1100RT) from oop norf, and while on the way home (about a couple of miles from home), he stacked it. First on the scene, I'm led to believe, was Gerry's wife, who was following him home in the car.

He is currently in the HDU at Ninewells with, I'm led to believe, a fractured pelvis and broken arm and various other injuries. The RT's aint too well either!!!

Hopefully he'll be moved to a Ward either today or tomorrow, once he's fitted for a new frame.

When this happens, members of the Auld Farts Club (BMWC), will descend upon his bedside and rag the pish ooto him. There's a good chance this will happen on Sunday, so I'll have to pass on Braemar too.

I'll keep this thread updated when I hear more.

BB
