I spent the past couple of days working in Wales, my last job being in Monmouth. Part of my route home took me from Monmouth to Chepstow on the A466.
That was a nice run, even for the car, but it would be a good run on the bike, which I will be doing next week when I go back up there. It's 17.5 miles and you need to do it both ways, first to enjoy the road and second to enjoy the scenery.
The scenery was absolutely gorgeous and you can stop at Tintern Abbey for a cream tea......
