Here's another Water-cooled up on the ramp for some paint attention. This one's going in an old school three colour BMW 'M' Sport scheme. Originally it was the matt olive green version ....... That paint scheme is history now though!

I stripped it down yesterday ....... jaysus I must have 300 screws in the pot so far!!

Here she is all butt ugly naked and all ...........

No, It was an option and easily enough done, just time consuming and therefore costly. I quite like the satin silver finish on the tank anyway. There is to be a small graphic fitted to it so it'll not be completely left alone ........

Indeed .... xiralic in an ingredient in some single stage pearl finishes. It's used very sparingly indeed, it's £240 a litre!!

Yeah that's pretty much it. Some paints are metallic, some are pearlescent, some are irredesent and some are Xralic. Mixing paint is almost infinite.

You could but you wouldn't necessarily get an amazing result. Each of the ingredients is designed to do it's thing and isn't designed to play nicely with the others.
Think of it this way, if you mixed petrol, diesel and avgas you wouldn't automatically get a super fuel!
