'M' Sport Adventure

I like it too - would go well on my Hexhead. Reminds me of the old Martini Porsche colour schemes which I loved at the time.

The paintwork looks brilliant and the skills to do it way out of my ability but that is one hideous colour scheme on a GSA - in my humble opinion of course! ;)

Everyone's entitled to their opinion fella. It'd be a dull old world if we all liked the same things!

And it's no reflection on your superb skills, of course. It's not even the colours really - the GSA from the side is a bit busy with bits of plastic and metal here there and everywhere. Now that scheme on something with a fairing, like an RR or a K1300S - lovely!

IMO, the silver tank needs to be black, as it will make the red, white and blue stand out more.:augie And the cylinder covers!:hide:D

The paint work is fantastic though, Chris. I'd love to have that sort of talent.:bow

Yeah, what's that all about? BMW make an engine with either a silver or black finish and the head covers are... dark grey :blast
I see where you're coming from with the black tank.

I don't see the black tank idea I'm afraid. Too much black IMHO. Each time I do a custom'ish paint job for someone I always spend a bit of time doing a kind of consultation. I usually spend most of that time talking them OUT of painting too much as it's very easy to get carried away and want everything painted with stripes here and swages of colour there etc.
I agree that the tank would look great black if the scheme was graphite grey or even red but to have all those black plastics, black engine, black wheels and have those bright panels sitting on top of them wouldn't work, you'd then have to paint the pillion plate black to match .... then the pannier rails ....... then the engine bars .......

Trust me when I say, the trick is knowing when to stop!

Oh yes ..... that's gorgeous!! ;)
