Has anyone actually managed to source and fit some of these on a gs?
I did but it required changing wheels. Done 4500 on them and they are superb. Behave like the best sports tyre in the dry and best sports touring in the wet. Did 400 miles in a day during heavy downpours and never lost grip.
Not yet but have a set on order as soon as they arrive . It will be interesting to try them in the 170 / 17 -- 120 /19 format. Im hoping for a sharp handling tyre with the additional grip on the sides as the tyre would , I hope , have a solid side with no cuts in which will aid the grip and reduce the overheating associated with the more conservative tyres we have at our disposal . For reference the CTA3 is as good as you can get at the moment as it takes a blistering hot day , hard riding to get them to move , and if they do its not much ( no squirming)....
Stick I also hope they become available as M9RR are probably as good of a street-tire / occasional trackday-tire as you can get right now...Let us know when you get them !
