Having attempted to resurrect my power PC G4 after its return from exile darn sarf avec son no.1, I am ready for chucking it out the window.
I have re-installed Panther OS X as the SBBOD was getting to be a frequent visitor, so that seems to have calmed the wee bugger down a ibt.
Now I have a problem with internet connection: Vis: work provide me with a broadband connection, but I can't get the PPoE settings required to get Mac on the net, as in XP the giff says connect automatcally.
Mac won't connect automatically (hard wire cinnection to my router, no faffing with Airport).
Any suggestions as to how to get back online would be most gratefully received.
Also, I know there's 1GB of RAM in in (I can see it coz I installed it last year) but the Mac is refusing to see it and is only running in 128MB. Anyone seen this before?
