Notes corrupted yesterday, don'y know how but refused to open with lots of reporting to Apple messages. Research on the net revealed that notes is part of OSX and restoration is either not possible or very complicated. day saved by doing a complete reinstallation from Time Machine. Thankyou Time Machine.
