trying to upload photos from iPhoto on the macbook, i get an error saying
"upload failed", anyone know what the problem could be.

Hi, if trying to upload to this forum the file may be too big.
There are instructions on the for sale stickies.
Open photo's in preview and save as a smaller file.
If you open as the photo as an attachment in Mail there is an option to change image size at the bottom of the page. The new image can then be saved.
These work for me on macs.
