No not a recalcitrant Celt but strange emails I occasionally get? Having recently switched from laptops to a MacBook Pro I randomly receive Mail which consists of little more than gibberish, an extract of one such like this

The only indicator is that it seems to be when it is a forwarded email although not entirely sure. Can anyone suggest why this happens and a remedy please.

There is an issue with Outlook sending emails that can't be read correctly by email clients other than Outlook (you usually get an attachment called 'winmail.dat' - do you see this?

I don't recall any other than an email which was otherwise normal which had that as an attachment at the bottom which wouldn't open. Just found another message with a mixture of text and "MacGibberish" but at the top it states "This is a multi-part message in MIME format." Could it be that the Mac doesn't recognise MIME format - Google is talking about Outlook and Winzip but they don't apply with a Mac?

I'm afraid my age is beginning to show!!!!
