Clock sorted!
The problem was that the right hand rubber for resetting the clock had somehow become pushed in too far. Strange as I have not touched it since resetting the time in October?
Very simple solution - get a pin and slowly pull the rubber up and it will stop and you will be able to reset it.
I did look at the rubbers initially but I was pushing them in - and it needed pulling out a bit.
