Does anyone know of a made to measure place dealing with leather suits?

A lanky mate will have to get one made or altered? if possible.

I know hideout and BKS do it but anyone in scotland?

I know two ladies in Scotland - one in Crossgates, just outside Dunfermline and one in Hamilton.

Nan Hynd, the lady in Hamilton has been known to make made-to-measure race suits. In fact she made the Durex sponsored ones for....? ISTR that the riders weren't entirely complimentary about them.

Colleen in Crossgates does repairs to racers' leathers and could probably do alterations to an off-the-peg suit.

However, I think the best plan would be to go and see Crowtree in Louth, Lincolnshire and see Alec about getting a made-to-measure set.....

I went to 'Hideout' - admit a bit of a ride/drive(an easy trip really- Easy Jet, walk oot of airport onto train they picked me up at station) but the leathers are excellent quality.

Yeah, I'd suggest them too. Also, A.M. Leathers in Barnard Castle (just down the road from Scott) and who I've used in the past. LINKY

Would have to advise against Scott Leathers.

Whilst their product is good their after sales is shite

3 trips to the factory, 1 visit to my home by their sales and 3 corrections done via post.

Took over a year to get a new pair of trousers out of them as they seemed determined that the fisrt pair they made me would fit. Eventually got a new pair that were a different spec fro what I paid for but they were the closest to fitting I had from them and have made do.

Fellow at work had the same bother and eventually took it up with his credit card company to get his money back

Wish I had went further down the road to Crowtree
