Hi,

Where do you shop for online parts? I googled it but came up blank:nenau

Some twat on a scooter broke one of my front indicators yesterday trying to park in a space that wasn't there. The bike is booked in for a service tomorrow, but I dont want to pay through the nose for supply/fit. And I'll get mine dealer serviced whilst in warranty but after that I'll do it myself.

So where do you buy your parts?

Cheers

Rich

Thanks for that, however I am not seeing BMW led indicators listed. :nenau

If you want the genuine items why don't you pre-order them and pick them up when your bike is being serviced?

Because thinking ahead to when I do my own servicing or need parts between services - there's noone near me (Brands Hatch).

Thanks, but I have BMW led indicators, one of which is busted off completely - those inserts fit bmw led's?

If you have the normal large indicators they fit. If you have the small twin? led indicators its a no.

The weiser led indicators are better than both due to giving off more light. On a super bright sunny day, someone coming up behind you will not see your indication, so be warned!

You can save-as & zoom into my image to see how clustered the indicator is with the led kit.

(Buying from a bmw-motorrad you can buy 2 pairs & get a £10 discount)

Thanks for that. Mine are led's and its the front one thats busted. The bike was serviced at Vines South London today and they quoted £29 for a new unit (non stock item, typical). The bike has to go back to them for the head bearings (under warranty) in a week or two so I'll have the indicator fitted then - are electricals easy with canbus? ie just unplug old one plug in new indicator? Service guy thought not, but book fitting time was only 10 mins.

I was pleasantly surprised by the service I got, and interestingly they do mail order (over the phone)..

Cheers for all input..

Rich
