I posted a couple of times in the past about my front headlight flickering whilst the bike was parked up and key out, thinking it may have been the cause of flat batteries and premature bulb blowage. The last time it happened, I was fortunate enough to be at my brothers with the bike in view from the kitchen. It'd been raining quite heavily earlier, so I sprayed a bit of WD40 down the ignition barrel. Hep presto - problem gone.

WD40 - is there anything it can't do?

It can't do what duck tape can!! mans best tools

If it moves and shouldn't duck tape, if it doesn't move and should WD40:D

Low beam shouldn't be on unless the engine's running, regardless of ignition switch position. I'd get her checked out by a reputable workshop before something more serious happens. (take it you're insured for fire?)
