I've been very reluctant to supply batteries until now due to the fact that sealed batteries sit on the shelf until they're required, and wet batteries are a pain in the backside..
This means that a new battery isn't exactly new. It sits in a charged state ready to be fitted to your bike. So it could be many many months old.

But i've now got sealed batteries that are supplied dry. It can sit as long as you like in the same state as it was manufactured, and when it's needed you fill it with the acid cartridge supplied, then seal the battery for life. Simple.

It's a 20amp 12 volt. The maker is an OE supplier to many manufactures, and they are in discussion to supply BMW ;)

It comes with the acid pack and seal. Easy to fill, just insert the acid pack ( non spillable) into the battery and it punctures the pack and the fills the battery. You then push fit the seal and it locks in place.

The cost for a battery is £52- Or £65 fitted.

Neil...I'll have one of those please.......would be useful to have a spare onboard :thumb2

As long as snow doesn't screw traffic too much tomorrow will still be bringing bike in so can pick up then if you've got them in :thumb2

Could you put one on the shelf for me too please? :augie

As soon as I can get the bike started I'll be in for a service anyway.... I've found that if you leave it standing outside for 2 months without riding it it sulks and won't start...

OOoo that's gonna be interesting..sending battery acid through the post

They get posted to here. The acid is securely packed.
It's the weight of them thats the problem.

Hello All
Can give a big :thumb2 for these batteries, the bike shop up the road from me has been selling them for years. Got one on the Fazer, 5 years old now and still a good'n :D

Very useful to have on board Bill I would of at least paid double to you for one of these in Morroco (bloody 1200,s),never mind:blast

Do you know how it compares to the holy grail that is the Odyssey ?

Admirably i would have thought with 260 Cold Crank Amps :D

We use them in Excavators and dumpers etc ..

Problem is Alan the different sizes.....I spoke to Neil this morning and these don't fit the 1200's.....we could have lashed it up with those flying leads we made up on that trail but the battery wouldn't have fitted otherwise.

I may well see if Neil can get a 1200 sized one though, given that the 12's suffer from battery failures quite a lot :)

I actually have the same unibat battery in mine. Works a treat. And at the price, a bargain.
