If this has been asked previously then I will thrash myself with a brace of nettle's, but.
I was using the 660 in the car today and thought "I am getting the best from this thing ?".
So does anyone know of a handy hints guide etc
Like when i enter a destination and it does its thing, how can i view the rout, if at all ? Can i see the route as i plan it i.e. via a series of way points?

Help greatly appreciated

On the Navigation page, swipe the map to the left and a North up map will show. then zoom out, it will show the whole route. I do this every time to confirm i am going to the right place before i pull away !

Ta !

Should have done that on Friday when travelling to Bovington and i would have realised i'd put the wrong postcode in and ended up in Bournemouth !!

I've just sent mine back to Garmin as it was playing up on our trip to France. Some of the imported custom routes would seemingly rearrange themselves and for example, go from a round 90 mile trip to a 3.6 mile route. Another route stopped after 20 miles, the rest just disappeared. There were other weird problems and I have to say this is the first time I've been let down by any of the Garmins I've owned. Pity the poor girl who had to deal with an irate me when we got home. Hopefully their fabled superb customer service works better than the 660 did.

A bit easier is to tap the top bar with the next road details, tap show map, and there it is for you.

Sounds similar to the symptoms I had when I had a mismatch between the map versions on the computer and the 660. It appears that the 660 route import is not as forgiving as some of the earlier models if the map versions are different. Always worth checking - you probably already did - even if it turns out to be a hardware problem.
