Man sentenced for breaking windows at west Kerry Garda station

The judge imposed strict conditions while he appeals the sentence, including curfew, daily signing on at Tralee Garda Station and " not to go west of Keane's Bar at Curaheen on the Dingle Peninsula."

The Garda station here was wrecked a few months ago and the 2 members on duty had to lock themselfs in the cells for there own safety
The barracks is now fitted with bullet proof windows etc
Talking to a friend of mine in the same bussiness as me today when his alarm went off and he went in to check he was attacked by 3 robbers with baseball bats
He was very lucky to escape without serious injury but got a major scare
This country has lost respect for the guards and its own people

Similiar to the UK. Cops on the beat, No, but there are armed response units and all detectives have guns on or about their person as my father discovered when he was servicing a detective's car many years ago. While checking the spare tyre he found An Uzi smg underneath.
