The MGP gets underway shortly. Any tossers coming over? If so, shall we have an informal gathering?

Any ideas welcome?

I`m coming over tomorrow (sat) for a fortnight, i`m not bringing my 1150, the XChallenge is coming, i`ve managed to squeeze it into the back of the Renault Espace, i will look out for anyone. Will be staying near the 13th milestone.

Can`t wait.

livewire,i'm booked for 11.30 on 30/8 from Liverpool and back on 6/9 at 19.45 to Heysham. I'll be in a Sprinter van with a KTM950 inside so i could get another solo bike inside. If the dates are ok with you i'm happy to bring you over.I can add you as a Passenger for the crossings, load at L'pool and drop off at Heysham or Preston as suits and work out a deal on the cost.

Piebaps,Please add me to the list of attendees :D .

Thank you for your kind offer Dee Tee i was absolutely job smacked considering we dont know each other, however thats how things appear to be with BMW / KTM riders especially on this site. I need to be back before you and intented going over Thursday or Friday, so may be we can meet up over there. I need to sort out a few things first, will let you know if i am going over soon
Thank you again :thumb

rob i will be over to spoil manxpanzers sex life :blast:mmmm and to catch up with the MOO :rose:

Hello matey...I trust you are keeping well...all we all need now is a time and a place...it will be a pleasure watching a Yorkshireman spend money :augie:D

Good idea...a lunch in a Manx pub or down at Niabyl sounds good to me :beerjug:

Anything sorted yet....:nenau

You mentioned Niarbyl....here maybe..

Haven't been for over a decade so no idea what it's like now apart from being up the hill from the bay...

I'm over from the 30th...:thumb2

The Ballacallin hotel has now closed...there is a cafe down the lane opposite on the cliff edge...good food...great views...

I was thinking of Peel breakwater's fine food hut which you can view here.

http://www.manxradio.com/webcams.aspx

Pros
No booking needed so we can just turn up
Food cheap and good (hairy bikers recommend the crab baps)

Cons
Snack bar so no full meals
Outdoors so if its raining we get wet
Your folks will be able to spy on you with the webcam

Sunday 30 August OK for everyone?

Alternatively, if anyone has a better idea.....

Should be fine, used to go there for lunch most race days...and the crab Baps were good...:thumb

Ferry Booked

Cant wait booked tonight coming over Friday 28th untill Tuesday eve boat , I will be staying at Bradden Bridge. I will have my daughter with me, 07 GS 1200 in Grey, look forward to final details of meet. :thumb

NOW THEN WIDELOAD :beerjug: yes still alive and riding:clap
i will be on the rock at 0600 Tuesday the 1st
will be on a F650 DAKAR:bounce1

Hmmm, seems like Sunday no good.

How about Monday 31st after the racing has finished.

Venue is perhaps a little more difficult. Why not stay with Peel breakwater at say 6.00pm and then if the hut is shut we can go on a road trundle foraging for food.

If it's sunny (3000000/1 chance:augie) we could sit outside the Creek?

If anyone has a better idea, feel free to speak up:thumb
