many thanks guys - new bmw lc

If that is it then it looks quite nice. Looks more like a svelte jap traillie than a BMW. Like the trellis frame detail and gold fork legs etc. Front end is none too pretty though....

My website credential software came up with a warning after I have been on that site ..

Not sure if it is just me ...

Having the throttle bodies above the cylinder is about the only obvious advantage of the WC layout. They won't be so prone to getting knocked and now riders can bark their shins on the cylinders instead.

The two forward projections that presumably flank the radiators look horrible (just like any other water-cooled bike with off-road pretensions).

It may grow on me but the whole GS thing has gone too far now that nearly every bike out there is a GS or GS clone.

Cant see the difference between that and the old 1200 :nenau

..OK so it's got more power, and somethings moved from left/right/up/down/front/back (*delete as appropriate ) but overall I dont see a change :nenau

+1:eek

Feck me, my 1150GSA has just grown on me......................even more:D

+1 :thumb2 I kinda like that my 1150GSA only has 2 horsepower, is machined from solid billet steel and weighs like 4 million tonnes :thumb2

...I dont think that I will be running forward..

looks like an explorer exhaust.have bmw developed a sense of humour?????:ronno

Looks like a cross between a KTM 990 SMT and a Multistrada................

A reasonable increase in power - let's see if the FD will cope with it......

Al :D

My deposit stays, no sign of the mpg figure, it will be interesting to see how close they can get it to the F800 mpg.

Looks like the rear subframe is now in two parts... As some one who wants to get his powder coated, would make it a lot easier to get off...

Overalls, I think it looks pretty good, also looks like the ground clearance is still pretty good, both under the engine and the cylinder heads.

How long before the GSA??

It uses pure H2Ohfuckmethatsexpensive

It will use H2O2 (heavy water or deuterium oxiode). They still have a stock pile after the V2 rockets failed to sell in big numbers so they've been waiting nearly 70 years to come up with an alternative use. It is slightly heavier than normal water at 1.11g/l but it will definitely enhance performance due it's superior wet qualities.

It will be sold at stealers in 5l bottles for loads of money and use of ordinary wet water will void the warranty.

A supplement to the handbook has already been prepared covering such issues as

how to check my water level?
how do I tell if my water is counterfeit?
what colour should my water be?
how often does my water need changing?
should I change to Hi Viz water when touring in France?

After market "spare heavy water carriers" are already in the design stage.

Pehaps we should also have a new section in the forum!

"water for beginners" :aidan

Ugly? it doesn't look that different from the 1200

Only the press bikes will have anywhere near 125 PS, anyway, it didn't really need anymore power, just run properly and be reliable
