Hi there - do you have any pictures of this; how do you secure it without it flapping about allover the place - please dont say you use sticky velcro on the tank
Aha...I see you have two threads running, in a sort of parallel universe.
It doesn't require the use of velcro and it doesn't flap about, all right?
I don't have any pictures but it's so easy.
Look at the pictures in the Ortlieb link I posted in your parallel universe thread and / or in the Ortlieb link in my February post above. My, time moves slowly in this universe.
The two strings, that usually goes around a hiker's neck and waist, is actually quite robust cord, with a toggle adjustment on each.
Simply place the map carrier (with map inside) on your tank. Run the two strings around anything on your bike that can be used safely. Use the toggles to tension the two strings.
Hey presto....one waterproof map carrier, no nasty velcro and no flapping....at least not a flapping map case. How much other flapping goes on in your life only you will know.
