Map versions

I have a BMW Navigator II with version 8 of City Navigator.
The Garmin website has left me thoroughly confused as to what the latest maps are that I can put on it - has anyone any idea and do I need to buy a upgrade or a full version?

Version 10 is the latest and you can buy it as an upgrade from Garmin or off eBay.

I am not sure if the unit you have is basically identical to the Streetpilot but I think you will have to have the original disks or maps on your PC in order to upgrade your copy of Version 8, then to load it onto your unit.

Thanks Guys - it says I cant use this product on my preloaded device and if I check the updates page it doesn't recognise my serial number so I cant fine out what updates are available.
Its the right serial number but i'm just going in circles......

If you are going around in circles then I think the update you want is the one with straight roads in it

Ring Garmin and ask for the BMW version of the non-NT maps for the Navigator II.

Hi You will have to wait for a while, the latest would have been V10 2008, but this update is no longer available from Garmin. V11 2009 will be launched soon and will be suitable for your Navigator II which is similar to a Garmin 2610. Paul
