I've toyed with the idea of getting some armoured jeans but have yet to see any I even vaguely like the look of............until I came across Maple Jeans; denhim/kevlar/forcefield aromour.

The problem is the poxy web site where you get to watch a boring video with no 'real' info and then you are requested to give your email address just to be sent another video with more info  Fecked if I'm gonna do that

Why can't it just be 'these are what they are/this is how much they are/this is how to buy them :nenau

Anyway, I do still like the look of them - does anybody know anything about them?

Andres

Don't know about those, but I wear Draggin Jeans, fully Kevlar lined, and they look good (in my mind anyway:D):thumb

Mmmmm.......these are more sort of 1940's Levis and don't actually look like motorcycle jeans :)

I have a pair of Hood jeans, they look ok and have plenty of protection.

I got a pair of Hornee jeans at Mates' rates , and was so impressed by the build and style - that I bought a second pair for general use :thumb2

No armour (get knee and hip armour from the usual suppliers) - but absolutely tip-top.

Never been impressed with any other make before these.

Al :)

Been looking for an alternative to Hood for my next pair of MC jeans.

While I think Hood are well made and will offer some protection they are not what you could call stylish and have faded to such a pale colour that they look manky as soon as I put them on.
These look like they could fit the bill depending on price.

Anyone know how much they are?

That's what the bloke on the site said in his video :nenau

I'm happy with my Hood jeans and wear them all the time.
Mine are about 5 years old now and still going strong.
Yes they are a bit of a pale colour but look perfectly fine to me.
Something around £100 now I believe.
Recommended.

So did you go for it Andres?

I like the look of them too, but £250 is too rich for me considering the use they would get. I am sure they are great quality but he's not going to sell them in any volume at that price.

I think he needs to back off of the emails he is sending too, he is starting to look desperate.

No I haven't, it's a shame because looks wise they are exactly what I'd like.........the price and the way they are being sold has turned me right off :(

Did anyone else notice in one of the many emails apologising for the delayed launch there was a picture of boxed Maple Jeans with made in China printed on the side :(

Shed some light

Hi guys,

Thanks for talking about Maple Motorcycle Jeans. I came across your post while doing a google search, and thought I'd shed some light on the product.

This is a project I started, after being frustrated with the lack of high quality, fashionable motorcycle jeans on the market. I'm just a passionate biker, who'd chasing a dream!

I'm the first to admit that these jeans aren't for everyone. In fact they were created for the select few, who appreciate high quality premium clothing, and want a stylish alternative to what is currently available.

If you're happy wearing Hood or Draggin, I'm cool with that.. I for one am not!

Re: Price - While I appreciate if you put 250GBP motorcycle jeans up against some of the 100GBP options, Maple appear to be expensive.

What I'd point out is that no other Motorcycle jeans are made using Raw Selvedge denim. When you compare them to 175GBP - 400GBP Selvedge denim jeans, you'll see that they offer fantastic value.

Again - They're not for everyone!

Made in China: Absolutely they're made in China. As a startup trying to prove a concept, no British or European manufactures were willing to give me a look. They all wanted 1000+ unit orders, which I just couldn't afford! I'm paying for this out of my own pocket (I'm not rich)

I'm very thankful for my manufacturer in China, who was willing to give my business a shot, and take the risk. They gave me the start to get this product to market.

There seems to be a very outdated, and closed minded perception that Made in China means bad quality - Couldn't be further from the truth.

I challenge you to find me a higher quality pair of armour reinforced motorcycle jeans. I'm so confident in them, that I give a 100% money back guarantee if you don't like them.

Wanted to add my side of the story here. Happy to answer any questions if you've got them.

Ride safe

I have a pair of these jeans, whilst on the pricey side they are very good quality and have a good amount of dupont kevlar inside. Unlike other jeans these come with forcefield hip and knee protectors. These are also raw selvege denim.

Cheers Dean
