Mapsource/550 contradiction

I've noticed that if a ask mapsource for a route, say, from Home to Huddersfield like today. I get a route over the M62. If I ask the 550 for a route to the same place, it takes me through Barnsley???

Route preferences are set the same on both functions. Car/motorcycle, fastest time etc.

In the future I plan to use the GPS when towing. Should I set the preference to truck??
