MapSource City Navigator 2008 Europe - AT LAST!

You can register 2 personal Garmin units for Mapsource software.

I had heard that this was being withdrawn as of the 2008 edition, maybe only be a rumour though, can anyone confirm?

I have just heard that City Navigator 2008 Europe has been released.

It's about $75 as an upgrade from v9. Unless you purchased your unit after 1st Dec 2007, then you are entitled to it for free.

i purchased mine on the 16 Aug 2007 anyone got the update for free if they've have just registered before the cut off date?

Installed 2008 NT today, I have noticed many little details to the new mapping. The reason I always update the mapping is so I have the latest mapping on my unit. New roads, new POI's ECT.
I had to contact Garmin (UK) today (install told me too) It is indeed now the case that you CANNOT install software onto two units.

Actually .. it allows you turn up at the same location as the people that left you behind

You still get left behind
But you will soon catch up with them

Mine was ordered 7 weeks ago and nothing, I sent an email to Gramin and hey presto 2 days later
