Mapsource won't let me find ...

I'm trying to put this place on to a route:


LITTLE CHEF
STANE STREET
FIVE OAKS
BILLINGSHURST
WEST SUSSEX
RH14 9AE

However, Mapsource can't cope with Stane St as it stands, and won't allow a post code search without a st name.

Nor will it find this one:

1 GUILDFORD ROAD
BROADBRIDGE HEATH
HORSHAM
WEST SUSSSEX
RH12

Mapsource insists on Guildford rd East or West amd not alone.

Am I missing a trick here?

Thanks to MikeO who has PMd with the way to do it.

As he writes, the method is slightly (!!!!!!!!!!!) counter-intuitive.

First, select an arbritary street number if you don't have a full address (as in the Little Chef address) - I put in number 5.

Then select the full postcode to restrict the search (it will only let you select the numerical figure from the second part - not the letters).

Then spell out and select "Stane" not "Stane Street".

Once you've done all of the above, get it to search and it'll come up with the location.

The same applies to the second address, although in that case you have an incomplete postcode. I put in "RH12 1" - if it hadn't found it I'd try "2" and so on. I used "Guildford" not "Guildford Road" and the house number. It found it straight away.
