Marshall bmw Grimsby

Hi,

No I got a new RT from Bradford years ago and it wasn’t prepped on time.

Head of sales was useless.

Head of servicing tried to bluff me that it had been PDI, where it clearly hadn’t.

Nottingham BMW similar, sales team were atrocious, looking to spend nearly 20k on a bike and they can’t be arsed to return calls.

The service guys there were excellent, sales were abysmal.

I was the least surprised man in NATO when it closed.

Not rocket science,

Do what you say you’ll do on time

Keep in touch if any show stoppers.

Provide crap service - win crap prizes.

I beleive that this dealership is owned by that very nice man, Roger Penske.

His net worth last week was just US$7.72bn

I’m curious?
I can’t see where he fits in to the Marshall / Constellation Group of companies? 🤔

I got confuddled - Roger Penske owns Frank Sytner.

Same dealership had a F900GS advertised for WEEKS. A mate called to enquire and was told it was available, then a few minutes later, the "principle" phoned saying it was a mistake and the bike was sold a year back.

Few weeks I enquired about it, was told it was available, 20 minutes later was told a deposit was taken on it. Friend bought a F900R from there and they were pretty crap with updates etc..

Heard their service department is okay though.

Indeed. A friend only mine saw a 1200 GS there at around £10,500* and offered them £10,000 which they declined.
He left his details and asked them to call them if they changed their minds. A few weeks later the bike had been reduced to £9,500 despite them never calling him.

* These figures might not be exactly right but the gist of the experience remains the same.
