Marushin X-Moto Helmet

Considering one of these - http://marushin.de/hxmoto.html - Similar idea to the Tour-X. Anyone know anything about them ?

I'm no help I'm afraid but would be interested to know myself - better looking than my Tour-X in a 'streetfighter' sort of way and I'll bet they are cheaper.

Seen a couple on fleabay. Approximate price £105. Think they'll have a uk importer soon, http://www.motoport.net/

Just wondered if anyone had any idea about quality fit etc, as they seem cheap.

I used the email address on the site and had a very prompt reply from Tom:

'Thanks for your enquire regarding the Marushin X- Moto helmet, we are at the moment just in the process of selling into the dealers in the UK after a successful trade show two weeks ago.

In the next few weeks I would expect to be able to tell you which dealers have purchased this special helmet as part of the Marushin collection, the helmet is manufactured in fibre glass is available in mono black or silver at the moment and has a SRP of £99.95 here in the UK.

We have reasonable stocks of the new range of MARUSHIN helmets in our central warehouse in HOLLAND and I would hope to be able to supply direct to dealers immediately on request.'

Sounds a good price to me.

I think i'll hang on and see who's going to stock them, rather than risking buying blind from flea bay. Posted this on ADV rider aswell. Someone there is waiting delivery and will post a write up when they've recieved it and had a ride in it.

I'll be interested to hear what the quality is like and how it performs with goggles but the visor still attached.
