With a couple of hours to spare over lunch and a sunny day, I thought I'd have a run up to Masham, a few miles up the road for lunch

There was a few road cyclists coming out of Lofthouse, funnily 2 of the men had stopped on the climb, whilst the women were powering up

Nice to have this riding countryside on my doorstep, without having to travel too far

Went up there a few months ago stayed in masham on JB reccomendations,awesome roads loved it where going back next year although will avoid the tour de France which is up there in the summer.

Glad you enjoyed it, Masham is brilliant - just enough to be a small town, whilst still retaining the ability to feel like a quaint village

Masham really is a rare gem
