Mass deleting stuff off a Legend C

Hi guys,

I've just had some help from shedracer with my GPS and I've now spent some time setting the Legend C up for my Finland trip... I've tidied some waypoints up, loaded maps etc... However, in Mapsource on the PC I've deleted some junk, and then transferred it over to the GPS, but the GPS still retains the waypoints that I've deleted.

What's the best way of deleting a huge bunch of waypoints? Or is there a way that I can synchronise the GPS with what I have loaded in Mapsource..?

All the Garmin GPSRs have a command somewhere that allows you to delete all of the user waypoints. I'm not familiar with the model that you have, so, I can't tell you what to do. However, keep in mind that the 'delete all waypoints' command is usually buried fairly deep, to ensure that novice users don't trip across it by accident. A good way to start looking for it is to press the 'menu' button once you have brought up your list of waypoints on the screen of the GPSR.
