Matlock monthly classic meet.

Ah, the PC50, my first powered two wheeler, RNN 928N from memory.
Did nearly 20k in 3 years commuting and trying to keep up with the Fizzy and AP50 boys, no chance then, LOL.
DVLA search shows no road tax since 1984, guess it is still in bits as it was when I gave it away for spares.

I'll be on my R12 G/S and wearing an all black merlin suit with leather shoulders if you spot me👍

We were looking for an R12 G/S but could not find it.
Lovely weather and good to see everyone.

My ride there and back was good, the peaks were quiet with next to no traffic which is a rare thing nowadays.
The R12 feels so agile compared to the 1250 adv I had.

Link to the digital speedo I have on my bike.
You can get for a bit less but this arrived in a few days with some free cable tidies.

I stuck some vinyl over the brand name.

This looks interesting, Over ten years ago I fitted a bicycle speedo but the 2 problems I had was that it was not backlit ( got around this with a couple of tiny led`s )
The other problem was that I had to keep changing batteries. I see this has a usb cable can it be run from a little usb power supply ? and does it have a backlight?
I have been using this GPT GPS speedo (photo) for the past 10 years mounted on top of the lower screen these are expensive so keeping my eyes open for a more budget friendly option when this one dies.

Its rechargeable, I expect you could leave it powered. Think the charger is enough for 30+ hours but not run it that long yet.
It lights up at night 👍

You missed one of the airheads! Nice piccys though.
