At 5'5 with a 26/27 inch inside leg seat height is always an issue for me. I test rode a bike with the standard seat and managed fine, but had I been Speccing new would have went with the low seat option.
However these are circa £500 to buy from BMW and as I can manage I'm not forking that out.
Someone on one of the facebook groups put me onto these,

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/407160237227
2X Rubber Rider Seat Saddle Lower Kit For BMW R1200GS R1200RT R1250GS R1250RT

For £4.10 was worth a punt and they have brought the front of the seat down a good 10-15mm.
Definitely made a difference.

As you can see from the pics on the ebay ad, the holes for the splines on the seat they attach to are offset. By putting them on the splines and rotating them so the holes/splines are at the bottom drops the front of the seat.

These have been available for years and cheaper on AliExpress.
Pretty sure you can get a mounting plate that reduces it further.
Daytona also make midget boots which give you further leg extension.

I'm aware they have been available for years, however I have never seen them advertised as fitting the R1300rs.

No doubt they are cheape on Aliexpress but I had a £2 lottery win so thought i'd splash out.
